The College of Southern Idaho campus will turn into a block party on Saturday for Eagle Fest , a celebration of the community college’s 60th anniversary.

The community is invited to the free event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 13 to listen to live music, visit the petting zoo, eat at food trucks, try out the challenge course and tour high-tech classrooms.

“It’s just a full-on party,” CSI spokesperson Matt Hartgrave said.

The celebration is only part of the event. Folks can also learn about all of the programs CSI has to offer, with booths around campus. Shuttle buses will help make it easier to get around the 330-acre campus.

“If you haven’t been here in a while, campus has changed and you should come check it out,” Hartgrave said.
