A woman reported her estranged husband’s stalking behavior to the Frederick Police Department months before he allegedly shot her to death outside her workplace, according to a lawsuit filed by the woman’s family.

Tenisha Butler was 33 years old on the night of Jan. 6, 2024, when she was killed outside the Giant grocery store in Urbana where she worked. Her estranged husband, Frederick Owusu-Sakyi, 35, is charged with her murder.
