The Library Lounge, housed inside the Fairview Inn, allows guests to escape modern city life and grab a drink in a preserved historic building.

The Colonial Revival-style building now known as the Fairview Inn was built in 1908 as a private residence, according to the hotel's website.

The original designer of Fairview, Robert Closson Spencer, Jr., was an associate of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Through several owners, the building's oak-paneled library remained mostly unchanged. When the building was renovated to become the Fairview Inn in 2000, Spencer's original vision was preserved.

The library was converted into the Library Lounge in 2006.
