OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland police officer killed in the line of duty, will be honored by Olmsted Falls city officials Thursday at a 9/11 remembrance ceremony.

Officer Jamieson Ritter was fatally shot in the line of duty on July 4, 2024.

On Thursday, city officials will unveil the sign for a new street named after Officer Ritter.

Cleveland police said Officer Ritter was killed by Delawnte Hardy, 26.

Hardy has currently been found incompetent to stand trial.
