WATERTOWN – Founded on October 6, 1925 by David Woodward and a group of town leaders, the Watertown Foundation is celebrating its 100-year milestone in several ways. The distribution of $100,000 in grants and $101,000 in scholarships will benefit students and programs for years to come. And the community gift of six Seward Johnson sculptures displayed in Watertown and Oakville will continue through late October.
Another highlight of the year is the Watertown Foundation Centennial Celebration Dinner and the public is invited to join the festivities. The 100th Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held on Sunday, October 5 at the Grand Oak Villa, 550 Sylvan Lake Road, Oakville.
