CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 15-year-old Cleveland Heights youth was fatally shot Monday in a courtyard on Cleveland’s East Side.
Cashon Roberts was wounded in the 2500 block of Bundy Drive, according to the office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner.
Paramedics rushed Cashon to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting occurred at an apartment complex owned by the Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Housing Authority.
Safety officials have not announced any arrests in connection with the incident.

The fatal shooting marks the 71st homicide in Cleveland this year. Through the same period last year, the city had 84 homicides, a drop of 15%.
