Netflix and the BFI Film Festival have invited audiences to step inside an exhibition of Guillermo del Toro’s hauntingly beautiful Frankenstein adaptation.

Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s seminal novel Frankenstein is perhaps the most anticipated Netflix film of 2025 . The visionary director — best known for Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water — brings his signature gothic and hauntingly beautiful style to the iconic story. The movie follows the brilliant but egotistical scientist Victor Frankenstein, who brings a grotesque creature into existence through a monstrous experiment. The creature, made up of dead body parts, is rejected and abandoned by Frankenstein, and ultimately left to roam alone.
