The tropical wave is expected to emerge off the coast of Africa in a couple of days.

The NHC indicated that environmental conditions seem conducive to the gradual development of the system throughout the weekend.

However, the system will encounter Saharan dust and dry air, which could decrease the chances for development.

The system is expected to move west-northward at about 15 mph over the eastern and central tropical Atlantic.
