Good news, "Overcompensating" fans: after months of waiting, we've learned that Benito Skinner's Prime Video campus comedy-drama has been renewed for a second season! The series arrived back in May, and quickly climbed to the top spot in the streaming service's charts, and fans have doubtless been waiting to find out what's in store for Benny (Skinner) ever since.

The show's fate was confirmed yesterday (September 10) when it was confirmed that creator Benito Skinner would return to star, write, and executive produce "Overcompensating" season 2.

"I have been so overwhelmed by the insane response to the show," Skinner said in a statement, "and feel so damn lucky to go back to Yates University with Amazon MGM Studios, A24, Strong Baby, and this legendary cast for Season 2!! PLAY SUPER BASS
