CLEVELAND, Ohio – The port of Cleveland is poised to set a modern-day record for cruise passengers in 2025, with 8,000 people on 53 sailings disembarking in downtown this year.
The latest visit was the Pearl Mist , a 200-passenger luxury ship that was in town on Wednesday.
On the passengers’ agendas: Trips to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Museum of Art, an Ohio City food tour and an Amish-country excursion to Geauga County.
Cruise representatives and local tourism officials took advantage of the visit to promote the city, its attractions and the growing Great Lakes cruise industry, hosting a media tour of the ship.
Pearl Seas is one of six cruise lines visiting the Great Lakes this year, carrying 22,000 passengers from Lake Ontario to Lake Superior, with numerous sto
