BUFFALO, N.Y. — The local drought continues to improve for Western New York, and northern PA. And the Severe Drought conditions have ended locally.
The latest U.S. Drought Monitor now shows most of Western New York and northern Pennsylvania are in Moderate Drought or Abnormally Dry conditions.
And now much of Western New York is under Abnormally Dry conditions, including places such as Buffalo, Grand Island, Niagara Falls, Lockport, Hamburg, Boston, Alden, Springville, Perrysburg.
Albion, Batavia, Warsaw, Angelica, Wellsville, Olean and Bradford are among some of the areas still included in the Moderate Drought conditions.
