TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — A driver faces intoxication manslaughter charges after three people and a newborn were killed in a four-vehicle crash in Tarrant County, officials said.

Officials responded to a crash around 8:20 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 8700 block of Highway 1187 in Tarrant County, the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

Four vehicles were involved in the crash, officials said. Three people, including the newborn, were pronounced dead on the scene and one person was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the statement.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner later identified the victims who died on the scene as 24-year-old Francisco Chavez-Garcia, 34-year-old Irma Garcia-Vasquez and an infant identified as Baby Garcia-Vasquez.
