SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the weekend! A high-pressure system will remain parked over the ArkLaTex throughout this weekend, bringing sunny skies and high temperatures. Highs should hit the lower to middle 90s across the region, with a few areas reaching the upper 90s. Isolated showers may pop up around the region through this afternoon, so keep an umbrella handy.

For Sunday, another hot day is expected with more cloud cover and isolated showers likely for areas in east Texas, rather than around the ArkLaTex. Highs won’t change much as compared to today!
