SCOTT CITY, Mo. (WSIL) -- Residents in Scott City should prepare for a planned power outage scheduled by Ameren for Saturday night. The outage will start at 11 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, and is expected to last approximately seven hours.
The Scott City Police Department informed residents that the temporary power switch-off is necessary to enable significant energy delivery improvements. "We apologize for the inconvenience," the department's statement read.
