Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Prevents Spread, No Injuries Reported

APOLLO BEACH, Fla. – A garage fire at an Apollo Beach residence was contained by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) crews Saturday morning, preventing the flames from spreading to the rest of the home.

The incident, which occurred on Regents Garden Way, was reported by multiple 911 callers at approximately 10:36 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy flames emanating from the garage of a single-story home. Acting quickly, crews deployed handlines to bring the fire under control. Their response was credited with successfully stopping the fire’s advance and saving the main living areas of the house from significant damage.
