Dogs across Glasgow have been invited to a Halloween-themed dog party coming to the city next month.

'Harry Pawter', a Harry Potter-inspired event, is due to be held at Dog Days Glasgow, on Jordanvale Avenue in Thornwood, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, October 25. Organisers say specific sessions are to be held for dachshunds, pugs , Frenchies and Cockapoos.

Organised by Pawesome Parties, the event promises dogs and their human friends a few hours of off-lead play, socialising and seasonal fun. It will include a platform 9 3/4 photo area, Harry Pawter themed props and plenty of photo opportunities

A professional photographer will be there on the day and there'll even be prizes awarded for the best-dressed dogs in each session. Orgnaisors say that the venue is fully dog-friendly, with
