A man who was wanted in connection to a homicide that happened in New Britain last month was arrested in Meriden on Friday.
Detectives received information about a man wanted in connection to the homicide on Aug. 23 being possibly in Meriden.

New Britain police said they worked together with Meriden police to take 27-year-old Joel Sanchez into custody on Broad Street in Meriden.
He was taken into custody on the strength of an arrest warrant that police said charges him with murder, criminal possession of a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Sanchez was transported to New Britain Police Department where he was fingerprinted and processed for the charges. He was issued a $3 million bond.
