The preseason event in Cyprus, the traditional Neofytos Chandriotis Tournament, brought together four EuroLeague teams — Olympiacos , Monaco, Crvena zvezda , and Paris.

After Paris convincingly defeated Crvena zvezda in the opener, Monaco and Olympiacos took the court on the second day, with the French side taking an 83–80 overtime victory, with Mike James hitting game-winner with seven seconds on the clock.
