BOSTON — Massachusetts’ leaders on both sides of the political aisle are reacting to the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk with a mix of condemnation and outrage, and calling for an end to political violence in the country.
Kirk, founder of the conservative youth activist organization Turning Point USA and a close ally of President Donald Trump, was shot and killed Wednesday while speaking at an event at a college campus in Utah. The state’s governor called the shooting a “political assassination.”
