LAFAYETTE, Ind.(WLFI) - Sports 18 had the opportunity to sit down with 13-year NFL veteran, legendary Purdue quarterback, and CBS College Football Lead Analyst Gary Danielson ahead of the Purdue-USC game.

Here's part one of the interview where Danielson discusses coming back to his alma mater, Purdue University, to broadcast a game in his 36th and final year in the booth. Danielson also reflects on his time as a Boilermaker from 1970-72.
