NAMPA, Idaho — A 30-year-old man from Nampa died in a car crash Friday evening.

According to the Idaho State Police, the wreck happened on Sept. 12 at 8:00 p.m. on US20-26 and 11th Avenue in Canyon County. Police said the man was headed west, driving a 2011 Mazda CX-9, when he went off the shoulder and rolled his car into a "small body of water."

Police said the man was not wearing his seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Idaho State Police is investigating the crash.
