Bryce Underwood did what he was supposed to do Saturday afternoon at Michigan Stadium against inferior competition.

Underwood, an 18-year-old true freshman making his third career start for Michigan football , helped get the Wolverines out to an early lead they would not relinquish against in-state foe Central Michigan in Ann Arbor in Week 3.
