It's a good idea to throw on light layers, grab your sunglasses and pack some water as you get ready to head out the door Friday. The trough of low pressure that brought our cloudy, cooler and unsettled weather this week is now off to our east, and high pressure is building into northern California from the Pacific. This will drive sunny skies, dry conditions and warming temperatures from Friday into this weekend. A weak system will brush through the Pacific Northwest on Sunday, and that will result in a modest dip in temperatures and a slight chance for showers just south of the Oregon border late this weekend.
