MORA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department has extended deadlines for taxpayers in Mora County affected by flooding on August 26 and August 27. The department said that to request an extension, taxpayers need to notify TRD by letter or email that they qualify and will need to provide documentation.

For GRT, compensating tax, withholding taxes, oil and gas taxes, combined fuel tax, and other excise taxes • New deadline: November 25, 2025 • Original due dates: August 25 and September 25, 2025 • Penalty relief: Late filing and payment penalties waived • Interest: Cannot be waived under state law

For income tax (personal and corporate) • New deadline: November 17, 2025 • Original due dates: September 15, 2025 • Penalty relief: Late filing and paym
