The New York Giants will try to avoid starting the season 0-2 for the second consecutive season when they visit the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. Kickoff for the Cowboys’ home opener is set for 1:00 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on FOX.
Giants fans might be hesitant to tune in after witnessing their team look flat in a season-opening 21-6 loss at home to Washington. New York only totaled 231 yards of offense, and 44 of its 74 rushing yards were generated by quarterback Russell Wilson. The Giants have lost their last three Week 1 games by a combined score of 89-12, per The Associated Press.
Wilson was ineffective overall in his Giants debut, throwing 20 incompletions to 17 completions. He finished with only 168 passing yards, and the calls to turn to rookie Jaxson Dart grew louder
