COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus College of Art & Design and the Columbus Fashion Alliance are partnering on a new fashion hub designed to strengthen the city’s role as a national leader in the industry.
The collaboration centers on The Loom, a 43,000-square-foot fashion innovation center opening in a former CCAD building adjacent to the college’s campus. The space will provide designers, students and entrepreneurs with access to professional equipment, mentorship opportunities and business resources.
“Columbus has long been a city where fashion thrives, and this collaboration represents the next chapter in building the region’s reputation as a fashion destination,” CCAD President Melanie Corn said in a statement.
