LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - UPDATE at 3 p.m.: Texas Tech expects to resume the game in 45 minutes as the storm passes through Lubbock.

The officials have called a lightning delay at the 12:28 mark in the first quarter.

Texas Tech hosts the Oregon State Beavers in its final non-conference game of the season.

1st Quarter : Texas Tech wins the coin toss and defers to the second half. Oregon State will receive the opening kickoff.

The Beavers draw two flags on their opening drive, forcing them to punt. A bad punt gives Texas Tech the ball at the Oregon State 45-yard line.

Before the Red Raider offense took the field, the officials called a lightning delay at the 12:28 mark in the first quarter.
