ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — It had been previously confirmed that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson would not not face a fine or suspension following an incident with a fan on Sunday night.
As it turns out, nobody involved in that instant classic — the Buffalo Bills erased a 15-point deficit with less than four minutes left to come away with an improbable 41-40 victory at Highmark Stadium — received a fine for their actions on the field.
The NFL announces player fines every Saturday afternoon during the season. For Week 1, there were 16 fines for on-field discipline during 2,526 total plays.
The biggest fine for Week 1 belonged to Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jakorian Bennett. He was docked $23,186 for unnecessary roughness on what the NFL deemed a hip-drop tackle.
