COLUMBUS, Ohio —
A replacement has been chosen for outgoing Ohio General Assembly Rep. Sedrick Denson.
Denson had previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives since 2019, during which time he represented Ohio House District 26 prior to his resignation on Aug. 8. Advertisement
Now, Ashley Bryant Bailey has been selected to fill the vacancy in the Cincinnati-based district by Ohio House Democrats.
"Ashley is an extremely well-respected public servant with deep roots in Cincinnati and an impressive resume as a changemaker across the country," said House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn, a fellow Cincinnati Democrat. "House Democrats are excited for Ashley to join our caucus in Columbus and for what she will do for the people of Cincinnati."
