Belinda Skelly, a nurse and mother of three, remains in the ICU after being hit by a car driven by her coworker, 67-year-old Lilian Sellars, in the Greenbrier Community Care Center parking lot.

Suzie Lenfant, Skelly's cousin, said, "She hasn't had a lot of waking moments. I think yesterday was probably the best day so far." Advertisement

Skelly's family is present day and night, ensuring someone is always with her. "Her family is there all day, and then they take turns at night. Someone is sleeping there with her. She hasn't even been able to get out of bed yet," Lenfant said.

Sellars has been arrested and charged with hit and run, reckless operation of a vehicle, negligent injury, and obstruction of justice. Her bond is set at $70,000.
