SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Over 50 teams, many dressed in green, hoped that luck would be on their side on Saturday, Sept. 13, as they participated in the 3rd annual Irish Road Bowling fundraiser in Chris Larsen Park.

Teams of four took turns rolling a 2-pound cannonball down the mile-and-a-half course and marking where it stopped or left the road... seeing which team could finish in the least amount of throws.

Opportunities Unlimited put on the event to raise funds for their Annual Angels program.

Jennifer McCabe, President and CEO of the organization, says this fundraiser helps to meet the needs and some wants of residents.
