CARMEL, Maine — The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office arrested a wanted Carmel man Friday afternoon, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, along with a woman for alleged resisting and drug possession.

Deputies were notified around 3:30 p.m. that Casey Corbett, 37, was at his home on West Court in Carmel, according to a social media post from the sheriff's office.

Corbett was reportedly wanted by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency for charges related to drug trafficking.

Deputies found Corbett at his home and arrested him. During a search of the home, deputies allegedly recovered 76 grams of suspected fentanyl, 11.4 grams of methamphetamine, various pills, three handguns, and two rifles, the post said.
