DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - The Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney says a Malden man assaulted his then-girlfriend and then repeatedly tampered with the victim.
A jury found Cameron Kerbyson, 29, of Malden, guilty of violently attacking his then-girlfriend in May of 2023.
Prosecuting Attorney Ryan Dicus successfully argued that Kerbyson hit the victim, kicked her in the face, and covered her mouth and nose until she lost consciousness.
The jury also found Kerbyson guilty of tampering with the witness. The jury said Kerbyson is guilty of trying to get the victim to change her testimony and statements, not show up for court, and even gave her money.
