Smoke is blanketing large parts of southern N.W.T. and air quality warnings have been issued for multiple communities.
N.W.T. Fire posted on Facebook to warn of elevated fire activity on Saturday, but said there are no new threats to communities.
Environment Canada has issued air quality warning for Fort Smith, Yellowknife, Behchokǫ̀, Whatì, Wekweètì and Gamètì.
Environment and Climate Change Canada measures air quality on a scale from one to 10, with one being the lowest risk and 10 being the highest.
