Willow star Ruby Cruz has reflected on the cancellation and removal of the 2022 series from Disney+. Willow seemed like a perfect nostalgic legacy sequel when it was announced that Disney were bringing back Warwick Davis as the titular sorcerer for a new adventure more than three decades after the cult classic fantasy movie. This time around, Jonathan Kasdan developed and produced the story, which focused more on new characters, including Cruz’s Kit, who goes on a mission to save her twin brother while discovering her own powers after he is kidnapped and led down a dark path.
