The Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer season just keeps getting better.

Iann Topete scored twice in PFW's 3-1 home win over Oakland on Saturday in Horizon League action.

The Mastodons improved to 3-0-3 (1-0-0 Horizon League) and for the first time in program history they are undefeated through the first six games of the season.

It is the Mastodons' second win over Oakland since 1982, and their first since 2012.

The win came over an Oakland team (0-4-3, 0-1-0 Horizon League) that entered the game without a win, but had a pair of ties against top 25 competition.

The Mastodons play their first road league game of the season Sept. 20 at Wright State.
