A raise for City Manager David Rowlands, recognition of the Businesses of the Quarter, and formation of an immigration ad-hoc committee are among items on the table for the Santa Maria City Council Tuesday.

The council will consider two items during public hearings: priority for Community Development Block Grant funding allocations, and joining the Statewide Community Infrastructure Program .

The Statewide Community Infrastructure Program can be used to help finance public infrastructure, facilities and development impact fees.

Under regular business, the council will discuss the creation of an immigration ad hoc committee, something requested at the Aug. 6 council meeting by Councilmember Gloria Soto.
