ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A passenger on a motorcycle was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Orange County on Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around 4 p.m. at State Road 436 and Lake Pleasant Road.

According to a crash report, a Ford Maverick was traveling west on S.R. 436, approaching the intersection of Lake Pleasant Road in the left turn lane.

At the same time, a Harley Davidson Road King was heading east on S.R. 436, approaching Lake Pleasant Road in the inside lane.

Troopers said the driver of the pickup truck attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection and entered the direct path of the motorcycle.
