SIOUX FALLS — The Fargo Force surged offensively with goals coming off the sticks of seven different players in a 9-2 win over the Sioux Falls Stampede on Saturday at Scheels IcePlex.
Fargo closed out the preseason schedule undefeated.
The Force led 3-0 after the first period. Luke McNamara buried two goals Jacob Sagadin scored a power-play goal in the period.
Sioux Falls countered to make it a two-goal game, but Fargo's Saxton Tess and Cullen McCrate each found the back of the net to make 4-1 heading into the third period.
The Force tallied four more in the final period. Sagadin notched his second of the night. Patrick Tolan, Moorhead's Garrett Lindberg and West Fargo's Bryce Mattern also had goals to cap off the scoring.
