Vote ‘no’ on proposed Home Rule Charter
As someone who has served Luzerne County in multiple capacities from the original study commission to two terms on County Council, the manager search committee, and now the election board, I feel a deep responsibility to speak out on the proposed changes to our home rule charter.
After thoroughly reviewing the draft and weighing its implications, I strongly urge voters to vote ‘no’ on the proposed charter. Here’s why:
