LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - After losing a close contest at home against Ole Miss, Kentucky Football took care of business against Eastern Michigan, 48-23.

The Wildcats intercepted Noah Kim on the first play from scrimmage. Daveren Rayner returned the pick 25 yards to the Eagles 25-yard line.

Kentucky was able to score on their first drive in just two plays. Seth McGowan found the end zone from four yards out to put UK up, 7-0.

The Wildcats forced a turnover on downs on EMU’s second possession.

The offense found the blue paint once again, with an 11-play drive culminating with McGowan’s second rushing touchdown of the contest.

Eastern Michigan responded with an eight-play drive that ended with a 38-yard field goal by Rudy Kessinger.
