CHARLESTON — Atop downtown Charleston’s newest boutique inn is a rooftop bar with a view.

The Nickel ’s second watering hole Rosemary Rose is now serving at the hotel, a 50-room French-inspired property that replaced the Dixie Furniture store at 529 King St. Developed by Method Co., the new accommodations opened earlier this year.

Dan Olsovsky, creative director with the Philadelphia-based real estate firm, said the rooftop lounge “brings the spirit of the French Riviera to Charleston.” Not only by the look and feel of the space, but by offering a menu with nods to the cuisine and drinks.
