LARAMIE, Wyo. – Utah football running back NaQuari Rogers broke the end zone seal for the Utes in the third quarter to give them a 10-0 lead over the Wyoming Cowboys.
After six drives of field goal attempts, a punt, and a turnover, Rogers powered in his fourth touchdown of the season.
After Utah’s second drive, Rogers was the team’s second-leading rusher with 12 carries for 58 yards and the touchdown.
At this same point in the game, the Utes had 20 first downs to seven from Wyoming and 340 total yards to 98. But six penalties and three missed field goals mostly kept them off the scoresheet.
Fresh out of halftime, they marched 10 plays and 83 yards, and Rogers sealed the deal.
