State officials said from Sunday, Sept. 14, to Friday, Sept. 19, two of the northbound lanes on Interstate 75 near Ocala will be temporarily closed for road work.

The affected area stretches from Sumter County Road 462 to Marion County Road 484. Florida Department of Transportation officials said the lane closures can start as early as 9 p.m. each night and last until at least 6 a.m. the next morning.

The lane closures are needed so crews can complete milling and paving work.
