North Melbourne has claimed a record 17th consecutive win in scintillating fashion, beating Brisbane by 29 points in the AFLW grand final rematch.

The Lions went toe-to-toe with red hot reigning premiers North early but a burst of five consecutive goals across the first and second terms put the Kangaroos in pole position.

North (5-0) never looked back from there, with Brisbane unable to go with the ladder leaders' pressure and intent, and claimed a 10.5 (65) to 5.6 (36) win at Springfield Central Stadium.
