Taylor Sheridan has become the godfather of Paramount+’s neo-Western content with shows like Yellowstone, 1923, and Landman, as well as several other genre shows such as Tulsa King and Lioness. However, before that, he was responsible for creating some pretty good movies, one of which was his 2018 sequel Sicario: Day Of The Soldado. Starring Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin and Isabela Merced, the Sheridan-penned action crime thriller failed to gain the same praise as its predecessor from critics, but scores incredibly high when it comes to the realism of its action.
