Jessie Murph smiled and said, “This is the coolest FaceTime of my life.”

She was being interviewed via videocall by Elton John for his Apple Music radio show “Rocket Hour.”

John, a Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer, was heaping praise on Murph, a 20-year-old singer/songwriter and a music superstar in the making.

Boosted by the single “1965” and its provocative video, Murph’s sophomore album “Sex Hysteria” debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. John called this “an incredible achievement.”

Known for piano-driven hits like “Tiny Dancer,” “The Bitch Is Back” and “Rocket Man,” John’s particularly smitten with Murph’s song “Heroin.” He told her, “I just could not stop playing it for people. It is an astonishing vocal, astonishing song.”

John has spun “Heroin” on his Apple Music show .
