The producers behind “Jimmy,” the upcoming feature film about beloved actor Jimmy Stewart, have announced Neal McDonough is joining the cast.

Stewart is known for an illustrious Hollywood career and for bringing beloved character George Bailey to life in the seminal classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.” He will be portrayed by KJ Apa.

Meanwhile, McDonough is set to play Stewart’s father, Alexander. Other notable additions to the cast include actor Christopher McDonald, who will take on the role of legendary actor Lionel Barrymore.
