Cammarata’s goal gives Wallkill Valley win over Sparta

Lexi Cammarata scored the game’s lone goal as Wallkill Valley edged out Sparta in a 1-0 defensive battle in Hamburg.

Cammarata’s goal, assisted by Ally Callejas, came in the first quarter and proved to be the difference maker. Despite Sparta outshooting Wallkill Valley 4-1, the Wallkill Valley defense held strong.
