Inside the Crafty Teller.

A well-known fixture in Sherwood's pub and bar scene is set for a fresh start with new owners taking over. The Crafty Teller, in Mansfield Road, will be run by the pair Mehdi and Dorsa, who aim to create "a pub that feels like home".

The Crafty Teller opened in 2018 before it was forced to a halt during the pandemic. After lockdown, it was faced with a couple periods of closure before being handed over to Drew Grimshaw in 2023 , who at the time also ran the Hole in the Wall pub on North Sherwood Street in the city.

The venue will now be run by Mehdi and Dorsa, who are a husband-and-wife team.
